My sister went to the hospital for surgery, stomach cancer about 6 weeks ago. She has had a fever between 101 and 103.9 for almost the entire 6 weeks. The pain has been so severe they put her in a induced coma. She was on a resporator and vent. They did a trac. and of course alot has been going on with her however she is off the vent and when I go see her she acts like disconnected from the world. Doctors think maybe she had mini strokes but not real sure. She has had two surgeries in the past six weeks to repair the seeping of the stomach. Right now I am concerned she has had brain damage could that be possible??Last week it was a yeast infection (Fungal) they said not sure if that affected her brain? I am so lost feel like I don't know what is going on. Any ideas???
