Imperialism is the only means of defending the foreign investments of a nation's capitalist class, and by allowing the extraction of profits and the creation of markets, it also safeguards the future of private capital.

Companies involving foreign investments, therefore, have to produce two financial statements, one in accordance with UAS for local tax purposes and the other in accordance with the IAS or GAAP for the purpose to satisfy the foreign parent company or the owner of Ukrainian companies.
Foreign investments in insurance companies, banks, other financial organizations and free zones shall be made in accordance with the federal law that regulate these particular activities.
The foreign investments shall not be subject, either directly or indirectly, to expropriation or any measure with similar effect, unless it is done in the public interest and in a non- discriminatory manner, and in return for a speedy and appropriate compensation in accordance with legal procedures and the general principle referred to in paragraph 2 of this Article.
