The freshman class project is the development of short term and long term personal goals; the sophomore project involves research and presentation on an environmental issue; the junior project consists of the design and construction of a work of art in any medium; the senior class researches a topic, writes a ten page thesis, and presents and defends the thesis to the senior faculty committee.
In freshman and sophomore years, much of the curriculum is independent of major, consisting of math, science and basic engineering and liberal arts.
At present he is teaching primarily freshman and sophomore students in the SC3010 Environmental Science survey course for non-majors.
