Id software, producers of Quake, started allowing its games to be edited by users, and published a world-building spec so that users could write their own editors as well.
I'd rather see children learn the computer languages and get involved with programming -- to do something creative with the computer rather than react violently with some of these games.
Object ID is a program that looks at the identification numbers embedded in all the objects in your The Sims games.

Like the id software type and Duke Nukem games you can play with another player via your modems.
ID Games' Doom and Quake , and related games ( Dark Forces , Duke Nukem 3D , Heretic , Hexen , etc), seem to be at least as hugely popular among furries as they are among the population at large.
