I have a Garmin Color StreetPilot GPS unit in my truck and new HP computer with XP has no serial ports.
Like all Garmin GPS units, this unit is software upgradable, which means you'll always have the latest version of the GPS operating system.
Do I need to remove the batteries from my GARMIN handheld GPS unit when I connect the unit to the 12 vdc battery on my boat or car?
