I own a 2003 honda 30 horse outboard, when I went to run it this year it would not go to full RPM or power. After talking to my dealer he said I probably had varnished up carb components. Is there an easy fix? Such as running seafoam in it or will it require taking apart the carbs and cleaning them? If it would require Cleaning the Carbs, where could I find a good manual? Thanks for your help. |

i have a honda 100 1980 model 10 hp outboard that sat for to long and varnished up the carb.
after i took it apart and cleaned it with carb doctor and the varnish is gone.
it starts on the first pull but won't stay running without the choke half way out and the throttle opened up a bit.is it worth trying to repair or should i try to get a new carb ? |
