It is my view that high profile Stakes races have a far better chance of attracting sponsorship, whilst the winner or placed horses in such events have greatly increased market value.
Is handicapping of horses undertaken by the Board below metropolitan standard if the winning margin is more than 5 lengths as occurred in Race 5 at Royal Randwick on Saturday 7th July 2001?

Race horses first came to this country with the aristocratic settlers of the southern colonies.
This is different from the traditionally presented pedigree which includes suffixes only when horses stand at stud or race in a country other than the one where they were born.
That race is a microcosm of many lesser tactical races like this, which are run at lesser tracks and involve horses of less ability.

Unlike actual horses races where the lightest jockey was more likely to win, the heaviest riders usually coasted through the finish gate to victory.

It is a race open to 5 year old horses and older and is a Purebred Arabian race.
Remember live horses are the only horses that win races and most all live horses have been introduced to speed prior to their winning race.
