I need to know where the "hidden hull number" is so I can get my Ski back. It is a Kawasaki 1998 1100 Sport Tourer. The Texas game warden didn't know where to look for it, so he siezed my Ski. All of the other numbers are right and he had to tear the carbs off to get to the engine number. I have contacted Kawasaki in Ca. and they sent the location to him and he still can't find it. Says a lot about the help they hire. Please help me get my Ski out of the pound.

The check engine light is on, on my Kawasaki 1100 jet ski and I can't get it running right. I've misplaced my owners manual. I put a new battery and spark plugs in, and also emptied all the old gas and refilled the tank. Please help!!! |

Have KW1100ZXI. Motor was under water. Pumped out and initially sparked when turned over but wouldn't keep running. Replaced spark plugs and now it only has a weak spark. What do I do? |

We have a 1998 Kawasaki 900 STX jet ski and can't get it to run. We changed the spark plugs and drained the gas and refilled, but we don't seem to be able to get a spark. The battery is fine. Also to note it was on a lake which is automatically lowered at night. In the morning when the lake came up, the jet ski was partially under the dock with it's nose in the water. I have a 96 KAWA ZXI 1100 I can't get it to start. Teake forever. I don't know if you have to push the start button or press and hold the start button. I have a 200 Kawasaki ultra 150 jet ski. Went to the beach, rode it just fine. Beached it to swim and then encountered problems. cold flushed it from the top because I thought there was sand lodged in it somewhere. Then found out how to flush it through the back. Haven't started it in over a year and now I'm having problems getting it to even start. It cranks but doesn't do anything else. Replaced the battery with a new one. Any idea's? gr8sk8r10@aol.com |

I have an older stand-up Kawasaki jet ski. It will run fine for awhile (15-20 min.) and then bogs down when you try to accelerate or run it at higher RPMs. If it idles for while, it is fine again for about another 10 min. before the cycle starts over again. We had the carbs rebuilt but does not seem to help. What is next? |

I had a battery issue with one, swapped the batteries between the ski's and the problem has not returned on the first day (today). Any ideas what the error code is. Hi, I have a Kawasaki 550 stand up Jet Ski and I've lost my owner's manual, Iâm having problems starting it, I have a new fully charged up battery, fresh fuel and had it running the previous week. However this week she is having none of itâŚ..she just wonât start!
Last week it was having a little trouble starting but nothing major, while still cold but once it turn over a few time it eventual fire and start up once some fuel got pushed through and it ran fine, (although the tick-over was not perfect at low revs) non the less it was useable, I just needed adjust one the idle setting on the throttle when I could be bothered to get round to it...after getting through a few takes of fuel I called it a day washed it through with some fresh water and took the battery out to put on charge.
this week I put the charged up battery back in to start it up and it turned over but wouldnât start, I tired an tried to get it to start but even with priming it and fethering the throttle it just wouldnât start?
I though at the time that I had flooding it so I left it for some time and then tried again but still no joyâŚeventually the battery ended up becoming flat so I gave up for the day and I took the battery home to charged it up over night.
Once charged I put the battery back inâŚlow and be hold it still wouldnât start! Grrrrr!
It turns over a dozen of so times and then diesâŚafter leaving it a while it turns over once or twice more but it really seems to be struggling to turn over and wont fire, Iâve tried re-charging the battery but the battery charger/ tester says there is nothing wrong with the battery and that it is fully chargedâŚI tried taking one of the spark plugs out and tried to turn it over with out compression but it still struggleâŚ.What should I do nextâŚ
Can someone please give me some/any advice on what to do next because Iâm really stuck!
Do you think it is the battery that is faulty?
Is it the starter motor that is dead?
Is it the timing out?
Is there anything obvious that I may have over seen?

I have a 1999 Kawasaki Ultra 150. The fuel guage is stuck at almost full. When I unplug the sending unit wires it goes to empty and then back to almost full once pluged back in. I tried to remove the float assemble from the tank and this is not an easy task without removing the braces. Any suggestions? If the float is stuck how do I resolve this? |

Hi, I have a 2000 kawasaki 1100 stx di that the hull plate has coroded off, that happens here in florida,. where is the secondaty hin plate located? I have the engine number and all of the registrations since new, but would like to head off problems with the missing rear hin. thanks for your help.
