Jet pumps as boosters - When you have a storage tank or cistern and you need to boost water pressure there is no pump like a jet pump to get the job done.
Shallow well jet pumps are not effective at depths below 25 feet but have the advantage of having no working parts down the well, so they can be used in narrow diameter wells.
