JJ'S BLUES - THE YOUNGER GENERATION OF THE BLUES - PART 3 - November 23, 2001, Fueled by the audiences interest for blues played by young performers, the Josh Williamson Band participated in a 3rd performance of the Younger Generation of the Blues show.
JJ's sophomore effort, Milkin' the Frog , was voted "Best NW Recording" by the Washington Blues Society and features all original music as does the debut CD Washboard Highway , which was named one of the top 10 NW recordings by KPLU radio.
A thriving blues scene has been kept alive by JJ's Blues and local artists like Charlie Musselwhite, Chris Cain, John Wedemeyer and the late John Lee Hooker.
