I find the Ombudsmen program to be in question in my relative's situation. Who or whom resides over Ombudsment to make sure rules are followed? And, who or whom can an inapporpriate action be taken to on the Ombudsmen program? Is there case law in reference to guardianship, dementia and interference from an ombudsment?

My step father got bite by a pitt bull dog, at a state park, in Wilson County, TN. He had to have stitches, and now, since the owners had no proof of rabies he's on rabies shots for a while, He works in the medical feild, and can't work now. My question is does anyone know what the laws and regulations are for pit bull dogs in TN if any? What's the next step for him to take since rabbies proof wasn't shown?

mattress sale contract not respected?
2006-04-25 13:20:39
Hello i purchased and payed a 20% payment for a clearance model Mattress at a Mattress discounters store. (contract specifies a specific mattress ID) I called to set up the delivery and all went fine with the vendor The Next day he called me back and explained that the mattress in question was pulled out of the stock and they discovered that it is damaged. Thus they can not deliver it to me. He also mentioned that he has no other discounted (clearance model) mattress for me and wants me to come back in the store to discuss and find another (**new** thus more expensive) mattress or proposed to give me a refund. My question is: is the vendor obliged by the contract and by the law to provided me a mattress at that price, same model, even if it means for him to give me a brand new mattress of this model? I would like to know what the law says so that i can use this in the discussions with them thanks in advance regds L
