Library materials are available to homebound residents and those institutions in the communities served by McKinley Memorial Library.
Materials are circulated for six weeks and can be renewed by calling the main library or a branch or bringing items to the bookmobile.

Library materials loaned for four weeks may be renewed for one additional loan period.
Most library materials are only loaned to the Center staff for an indefinite period.

Reading materials are distributed to a cooperating network of local regional and subregional libraries where they are circulated to borrowers who meet federal eligibility guidelines.
Library materials are often sent to municipal officials by our consultant staff in response to inquiries; some officials call the library directly to borrow materials.
Library materials can be purchased under the resource sharing program by an academic institution as long as it can be lent to or used by the patrons of members of the reference and research library resources systems.

Library materials must be returned within 5 days of the due date that is printed on the receipt issued at the time of checkout.
Library materials must be returned no later than the next monthly membership meeting following the original check out date.
Materials from other libraries received through interlibrary loan are checked out for the time indicated by the sending library.
