Exhibition of Ocean Liners at War Will Dazzle and Drab “Ya” This unique exhibition documents the use of ocean liners converted to troop carriers, hospital ships and armed merchant cruisers during the World Wars.
Canon Peter Larom presented medals to merchant marine veterans who served on ocean liners during World War II.
The museum includes fabulous exhibits on classic ocean liners, including the Titanic , as well as a most moving exhibit recounting the story of the 1917 Halifax explosion and its aftermath.
