Like two lions viciously mating, Jack tried to pound her into submission while at the same time she clawed at him with her nails, leaving telltale signs of their encounter on his back!
On the same game drive a mating pair of lions and a single lactating female were also seen.

There is no fixed mating season for Mountain Lions as the season varies geographically.
In this way it would seem that the mating system of sea lions is more dominated by female choice than it initially appears.
Mating among lions is not much different from that of any other cat.
