This mandate is deceptively simplistic in this case: Texas statutes do not allow same-sex marriages, and prior judicial decisions are few.
Moore is confident the court will rule that states cannot outlaw same-sex marriages from other states because the Full Faith and Credit clause of the U.
The court invalidated a statute that restricts marriages only to different sex couple.

The Senate approved a bill allowing gay and lesbian marriages, giving same-sex couples most of the rights heterosexual ones have.
They are essentially gay marriages in everything but name only, so we would oppose any policy that would treat same-sex unions in any way the equivalent of heterosexual marriage.
We believe in the purity of sexuality and thus do not perform same-sex marriages nor ordain those living in gay or lesbian lifestyles.

Since homosexuality is condemned by God and "same-sex" marriages are homosexual, we must, therefore, conclude that such marriages are not approved by God.
One gathers that in marriages between those who have followed Christian rules up until marriage that is, no sex at all sexual ineptitude and lack of fulfillment are all too common.
Prohibitions against marriages between consenting adults of any sexes, and Georgia's ridiculous sex laws are just two of the examples that come to mind immediately.

It is modeled after a 1996 federal law that bans federal recognition of gay marriages and allows states to disregard the same-sex civil unions recognized in Vermont.
In March 1996, they voted to support same-sex civil marriages and to oppose state government efforts to ban such unions.
It is my understanding that some supporters of HB398 oppose recognition of marriages by same-sex couples out of concern that such marriages will hurt the state and federal budgets as well as local businesses.
