I have a 2004 50 hp mercury on a 16'tracker the water pump does not always seem to pump enough water out the back of the motor. the dealer keeps telling me that dirt bloks the pump, but I always flush the engine and only start it in the water. the water just dribbles out , I take it to the dealer and he keeps the boat for a week and maybe the third time out it will stop flow with any pressure. |

I have a 1982 Mercury outboard and need to replace the bracket that the motor swivels on. I saw a manual on a web site for $30, that should work me through it, however I think this is to much $ to handle this simple repair. Have any suggestions on how to get a look or copy of that owners manual? |

I have a 1988 Mercury Classic 45, it just started missing and backfiring. Of course i just put gas in from the marina. i have changed the spark plugs, added stabilizer and added heet. it is still not running right. help please

i have a 85 xr2 150, it acts like it's running out of gas when i try to idle or take off, new fuel pump lines ect.but it runs fine once i get past the idle, i can push the inrichers or choke it it will keep running, any suggestions? thanks ken |

I have a2002 mercury 90 horse 2 stroke. After running it a couple of huors or so then shut it off for a hour or so it will not start until it good and ready usually leaving me and my family stranded 3 or 4 hours at a time. put on a dinomomiter shows nothing wrong. please help. |

My 50 horse outboard is running hot. Have installed new impeller. Have cleaned out the water lines with air, and have good water pressure coming out of the cooling system. It is still running hot (steaming water). Can you advise what I should try next? |

i have a 1979 mercury inline 6 90hp hot cable and ground in the harness fell apart can i run cable from the battery to the senoid and the ground to the motor itself i dii this and know i dont have any power to the ignition |
