The NFTA Police are responsible for providing security within the Metro Bus and Rail system and at both the Buffalo Niagara International Airport and the Niagara Falls International Airport.
METRO has also contributed substantial funds towards the comprehensive planning effort as part of the light rail transit system that will run along the corridor.
MTA also is developing a universal fare system that will provide a seamless way that people can travel from one bus system to the other as well as to the Metro Rail system.
