I had often wondered where the young songwriter of today with the poetic vision of the classic 60's folk singers like Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs or Fred Neil was hiding.
Influenced by a time spent with Phil Ochs and another with Townes Van Zandt, Mikel combines the free-wheelin' styles of Jerry Jeff Walker and the immortal Ramblin' Jack, somehow managing to fuse these together to achieve the sound that is his today.
For example, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Janis Ian and Phil Ochs had their songs published.

Her name comes from a song by the late Phil Ochs, but her species (mink) was suggested by Zachary Zulkowski, which I guess makes him her co-creator, doesn't it?
