EMERGENCY RADIOS: One very well prepared company reported they were unable to communicate via radio to their home office communications center and other downtown offices.
One of those arrested was quoted saying that they worked for a timber company and that the three radios, which were licensed, were used for communication purposes especially in cases of fire.

I recently read one article by a supposed expert who stated that PCM radios used 1024 bits of resolution while FM or PPM used only 512 bits of resolution and that made PCM better!

These radios can be plugged into a GPS set to automatically report position, and can also be jacked into one of the tough light portable computers that shares data throughout the division.
