Hi,I own a 9.9 hp(used for trolling),4 stroke high thrust yamaha and it is a 1995 it does not have a fresh water wash feature like my larger moter 250 hp I own and recently the tell tale has not not been workiing well and I had the water pump replaced and the shop that repaired said that it was not realy important that it squrited out the tell tale.please tell me your thoughts on this ,by the way the moter seems to run fine evan with the absence of the stream of water that is not coming out but rather a slow dripping, thanks for the imput my diret e-mail is agolds001@yahoo.com |

I have a 1998 40hp Yamaha outboard. I would like to know if there are any modifications to increase horsepower. It seems to be the same size and weight as the 50hp model. Is there a restricter plate that could be removed (etc.)? |
