At the request of the Toronto Anglican Peace Initiative, I am calling on all parishes to have special prayers for peace on that day and throughout the week as we pray for unity in the Christian community.
Please remember in your prayers all of the members of our parish who are commissioned as part of the teaching ministry of Prince of Peace faith community.
The need for prayers for Christian Unity is something which can easily be tied in with prayer for peace, because if there is unity in the acceptance of the message of Christ then it will be recognized that message is one of peace.
