How much fiberglass insulation do you need to make rb effective? I have some fiberglass in my attic but it doesn't provide sufficient insulation. If I place the rb on the roof of the attic, won't the cold (or hot) air that comes in through the gable vents undermine the effectiveness of the rb? Your comments will be appreciated. Thank you, John
