All Rare Bird Reports are evaluated by the members of the Bird Records Subcommittee of the OFNC.
Records of rare birds will only be included within the Ohio ornithological record after peer review and acceptance by the wholly independent Ohio Bird Records Committee.
For rare or locally distributed species, more specific details concerning individual breeding records are included.
