Rivercare Plans are needed to ensure that funds spent on works in rivers are strategic and fit in with wider catchment management activities.
A good plan is the first step towards well managed and healthy rivers and streams and I commend these guidelines to you and ask you to use them when undertaking Rivercare projects in Tasmania.
