These scanners work well with properly exposed slides of low to moderate contrast, but if you work in the field with difficult or contrasty lighting, negatives have the edge.

Slides and prints are scanned with an Agfa DuoScan T1200 flatbed/slide scanner and Agfa FotoLook SA 3.
I was concerned about the resolution of the scanner for 35mm slides and negatives as dedicated scanners seem to have a resolution of 4000dpi.
