Senate Bill 211 arrived in the House Judiciary Committee, and had to be voted favorably without amendments, since the bill would not survive a 2nd trip to the Senate.
That the bill was reported favorably out of the Senate Judiciary Committee is a significant victory and we intend to get our bill considered quickly when the 108th Congress is sworn in.
The amendment was unanimously approved by the Senate on a roll call vote and was accepted by a conference committee whose report was approved by both houses.
